Verse of the Week #20 (1 Peter 4:1)

Hello guys, I'm sorry I haven't been blogging lately, I have been busy. I'm back and I will be bringing more content. Time for this week's verse.

"Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin." -1 Peter 4:10 (NKJV)

Cease from sin. Live up to the title of "Christian". You are supposed to be like Christ. Even though this may seem like a harsh calling, we are called to it by our Lord, Jesus.

Verse of the Week #1 (1 Peter 3:11)

Here it is nearing the end of a winter wednesday. I always end up wanting to stay up late and then I end up wanting to get up late. Oh well, here is a great way to wrap up the day. The verse of the week from 1 Peter 3:11

Let him turn away from evil and do good; Let him seek peace and pursue it. 1 Peter 3:11 (NKJV)

So simple, yet so difficult. Hope this helps someone.
