One thing I have to constantly remind myself in my life is to be not be fearful of persecution and hardship. Bad things happen to good people, but the word of the Lord really helps us. This is a verse from the Revelation given to John at the end of his life.
"Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life."- Revelation 2:10 (NKJV)
To anyone who is discouraged or weary, persevere!
